Sonam and Imran will be directed by Karan’s good friend and top designer Manish Malhotra’s newphew Punit Malhotra. Manish confirmed this news to Mid-Day that Punit was indeed beginning his film under the Dharma Productions banner with Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan as main roles. In addition, Manish also disclose that the film is has been scripted by Punit himself and is a romantic comedy in nature.

Punit Malhotra has being working with none other than Karan Johar himself for past couple of years and even as an assistant in the making of Dostana.

Siddharth Anand, Director of “Bachna Ae Haseeno” has signed Ranbir kapoor with Priyanka Chopra in next movie too.  The amazing thing is the casting of Priyanka Chopra opposite the young actor for the first time.

She proved this by her recent hot shot for a magazine last year while going public where she was wearing dresses with plunging necklines and backless. She was the eye-grabber at director Kunal Deshmukh’s restaurant launch. She stars in Kunal’s next film ‘Tum Miley’ with Emraan Hashmi .

“I take part in the character of a girl called Pooja, who is a lobby manager of a hotel floor. She is smart, trendy, confident and cheerful and has a wild streak,” Soha is quoted by a news agency.

But nowadays Soha ali khan is more excited for movie99 with Cyrus Broacha and Kunal Khemu  as co-star . She is playing a character with a wild streak in  the movie..

“In the film, two conmen played by Kunal Khemu and Cyrus Broacha enter the character’s existence and since she wants some thrill in her life, she happily join them. She is a fun character at heart,” she added.

Soha’s 99 all se to set to release on May 1, but its now is unsure due to the ongoing producers/distributors smack.
