Jail is Madhur Bandarkar’s next Movie after Fashion that shows the lives of prisoners. Extremely pleased with Mugdha Godse’s performance and professionality, Bandarkar went further on to sign her as the main lead in his upcoming movie opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh. Director Bandarkar, wanted to shoot the film in a real jail but because of the complication had to settle for a jail set instead.

In one scene Neil Nitin Mukesh strips his pant and goes complete naked. As the scene is very controversial and odd, it has been shot in the attendance of very less public and Neil did not want Mughda to see him while this shoot. According to a source, “Neil Mukesh has done a scene in the film where he goes naked as the police inspect him once he enters the jail.

Mugdha was sort of protected in her vanity van for about four hours as the actor requested Madhur to give him privacy for the scene and thus, till the scene was finalized. So the director has made Mugdha Godse to seat in her vanity van for three long hours.

Initially the actress was little uncertain but later co-operated and didn’t mind being locked for three hours. She watched IPL in her ‘forced’ break, while Neil smoothly shot the scene with just four people present around him.”

Madhur is a sensible director. He goes every extent to bring pragmatism on-screen and made his actors to perform any bold scene with no difficulty. Neil too is very excited to work with directors like Madhur Bhandarkar at the budding stage of his career and performing such challenging role.
