Sourav Ganguly might no longer be the skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders, but team owner Shah Rukh Khan Feels the former Indian skipper is still a “dude” and crucial in the side’s scheme of things in the on-going IPL.

“Dada is incredible and there is no doubt about it. He does not need to give evidence it to anybody how big as a player he is. We know it in KKR. He’s the main component of our team. He’s the guy the team centres around,” Shah Rukh said in honor of Ganguly.

Shah Rukh also felt that Ganguly’s two wickets for 24 runs tilted the match in his team’s support against Kings XI Punjab.

“In opposition to Kings XI Punjab he was wonderful with those couple of wickets. When Dada came on and got those two early wickets it changed the match in our favour and after that also he sort of kept them calm and scared. I think he made a lot of difference,” he was quoted as saying by IPL official website.

In addition, Manish also disclose that the film is has been scripted by Punit himself and is a romantic comedy in nature.

Punit Malhotra has being working with none other than Karan Johar himself for past couple of years and even as an assistant in the making of Dostana.

Bollywood’s actor-producer-director Feroz Khan, known for blockbuster like ‘Qurbani’ and ‘Dharmatma’, passed away at his cottage here after a stretched battle with cancer. He was 70.

Feroz Khan, who died late Sunday, will be buried at the Johnson Market burial ground at 5.30 p.m. Monday, his younger brother Sanjay Khan said.

He is survived by son, actor Fardeen Khan and daughter Laila. Feroz Khan, was last seen in the 2007 comedy ‘Welcome’, had divorced his wife Sundari 24 years ago.

The filmmaker, who was known to have led a quiet and simple life in Bangalore, had been battling cancer for the past one year and was under treatment in a Mumbai hospital. Family sources said his demise was not surprising as his physical condition had been falling sharply.

Family sources said actor Hrithik Roshan, who is married to Sanjay Khan’s daughter, and his filmmaker father Rakesh Roshan were expected to arrive here to pay their last respects to the director.

He acted in hit films like ‘Arzoo’, ‘Aurat’ and ‘Safar’ as well as play crucial roles in his own directorial ventures ‘Qurbani’ and ‘Dharmatma’. He won a Filmfare honor for best supporting role in ‘Aadmi Aur Insaan’ in 1970 and was honoured with the lifetime achievement award in 2000.

Bollywood icon John Abraham is almost prepared to venture into international films with gangster movie ‘American Empire’. Abraham, who earlier bagged rave reviews in the Deepa Mehta’s Oscar nominated film ‘Water’. Currently he is reading the script of the film.
